What Does Street Challenge Add To Your Course?

The pedagogy encourages students to reflect on learning in context. Working with community partner(s), the educational experience shifts from the individual student towards concepts such as service, care, community, coopetition, and reciprocity. Exploring these concepts against the backdrop of a community helps cause a change of perspective for students; they are able to see the role of interdependencies in the social and structural ecosystems that make up communities.
